Bang Bang is a spicy sauce with origins in China. We've borrowed the idea to make a prawn dipping sauce suited to Aussie tastes and Australian Prawns. And we'll also show you how to make a lime pickled chilli sauce too.

Bang bang dipping sauce

 24 cooked large Australian prawns, peeled, tails on
 Gem lettuce leaves to serve
Bang Bang Sauce:
 1 cup thick Greek style yoghurt
 2 tbsp Sriracha sauce
 1 tbsp lime juice
 2 tsp fish sauce
 ¼ cup sweet Thai chilli sauce
Lime Pickled Chilli:
 1 long red chilli, deseeded and finely chopped
 2 limes, juiced
 1 tsp finely chopped coriander leaves

For the bang bang dipping sauce, combine the yoghurt, sriracha, lime juice and fish sauce. Swirl through the sweet chilli sauce.


For the lime pickle combine all the ingredients.


Serve the prawns in lettuce cups with the bang bang sauce and the lime pickled chilli sauce on the side.
